Malcolm Woodcock is a consultant ophthalmologist who has worked in the NHS in Worcestershire since 2007. He set up the vitreoretinal (VR) service in Worcestershire and his vitreoretinal fellowship training was undertaken at the 2 largest and busiest VR units in the country, the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC) and at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
As well as doing a high volume of retinal detachment surgery, macular hole repairs and peeling epiretinal membranes he has been involved with many more complex and innovative vitreoretinal techniques.
